世界の都市が抱える課題への取り組み
【2015年5月14日、ニューヨーク】 JPモルガン・チェース・アンド・カンパニー（NYSE：JPM）は、2014年度版コーポレート・リスポンシビリティ・レポート（企業責任レポート）を発行しました。「世界の力：都市の活動」と題し、世界の都市が抱える課題に対応すべく取り組んだ様々な支援活動や成果を紹介しています。
ジェイミー・ダイモン会長兼最高経営責任者は次のようにコメントしています。「当社は、地域コミュニティの活力が高まることを期待して、資金支援のみならず社員によるボランティア活動を含め、企業責任の分野には様々なリソースを提供しています。」
当社におけるコーポレート・リスポンシビリティは、就労支援、金融リテラシーの向上、起業支援、地域開発支援に注力しています。当社支援の好例がデトロイト再生支援です。当社は2014年よりデトロイト経済復興5ヵ年支援として1億ドルを拠出しています。当社は約80年にわたりデトロイトで銀行業を営んでおり、困難に陥ったこの都市において当社が持てる資源や人材を提供しています。就労支援や起業支援に加え、復興開発などの支援にも協力しています。
